GREEN DRAGON LONGFIN BRISTLENOSE (Ancistrus sp. Green Dragon)

A Rare Longfin Pleco with Stunning Colour and Elegant Fins

The Green Dragon Longfin Bristlenose Pleco (Ancistrus sp. Green Dragon) is a premium ornamental pleco prized for its shimmering green-bronze coloration, long flowing fins, and exceptional algae-eating abilities. This beautiful longfin variety combines the hardy nature of the classic Bristlenose Pleco with graceful finnage, making it one of the most desirable plecos for planted aquariums and freshwater community tanks.

Unlike Common Plecos that grow very large, the Green Dragon Longfin Bristlenose remains compact, making it suitable for a wide range of aquarium sizes. Mature males develop the distinctive facial bristles that Bristlenose Plecos are known for, while the extended dorsal, caudal, and pectoral fins create an elegant appearance that stands out under aquarium lighting.

In addition to its beauty, this pleco is an excellent algae grazer, helping to control soft algae and biofilm while scavenging leftover food from the aquarium substrate.

Monster Aquarium Canada proudly offers healthy Green Dragon Longfin Bristlenose Plecos with professional live fish shipping across Canada. Every specimen is carefully selected for colour, finnage, and overall health before shipment.
